EATING DISORDER THERAPY
Heal your relationship with food and your body — and reconnect with yourself
Compassionate, evidence-based care for preteens, adolescents, and adults ready to build a meaningful, lasting recovery.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Every meal feels like a negotiation
Your mind is constantly calculating - calories, exercise, or what’s coming next
You feel trapped between wanting recovery and fearing what life could look like without the eating disorder
You don’t feel like you’re “sick enough” to deserve help
You’re not alone. And you deserve support to build a meaningful, lasting recovery.
Eating disorders are about so much more than food
People often assume eating disorders are about appearance.
They're never that simple.
An eating disorder can become a way of coping with anxiety, perfectionism, overwhelming emotions, trauma, or a need for control when life feels out of control.
Recovery isn't about simply eating differently.
It's about understanding why your eating disorder showed up in the first place, and helping you build a life where you no longer need it.
What eating disorder recovery therapy is like
Compassion First
You won’t be judged for your thoughts, behaviors, or for being unsure about recovery. My hope is that by leading with compassion, I can help you practice self compassion in moments of ambivalence and struggle.
Weight Inclusive Approach
Health and wellness is so much more than a number on the scale. My therapy practice operates from an anti-diet perspective, meaning I focus on helping my clients reconnect with their body & mind and allow them to guide their path forward, not diet culture or the eating disorder.
Evidence-Based Care
I utilize modalities like ACT, Parts Work, and Feminist / Relational therapy to support my clients in finding life outside of and beyond the eating disorder.
Lived Experience
I was inspired to become an eating disorders therapist after overcoming my own. I know what it feels like when recovery seems out of reach.
That said, it’s important to distinguish my own process from others’ — ultimately, you are the expert on you and on your story. I’ll share my own experiences if and when it’s helpful.
Art for When Words Aren’t Enough
Art therapy is always optional, and can be a useful tool in exploring the complexities of recovery.

Frequently asked questions
-
No! Eating disorders do not discriminate and you cannot tell if or how much someone is struggling based on weight.
I practice from Health at Every Size® and anti-diet perspectives.
-
Ambivalence is a huge part of the recovery process. I understand the unique push and pull of the eating disorder. In those moments, I find it’s best to get curious and approach the part of you not ready to recover with compassion and nonjudgment.
-
Definitely! I find it really helpful when I can work with Registered Dietitians (RDs) and other medical providers.
For preteens and adolescents, I also collaborate with parents and caregivers, who I believe are a critical piece of the recovery puzzle.
