About Colleen
I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen without judgment or the pressure to be someone you’re not. My role is to help you build self trust and understanding so you can create a life that feels fulfilling, authentic, and aligned with your values.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and evidence-based care to our work together all while honoring your story and pace for healing.
Why Different Heart?
In the quiet of an eight-year-old's sleepless night, I wrote this heartfelt note to my parents. Little did I realize that this childhood moment would shape the very essence of my therapy practice's name.
What once haunted me as my greatest fear - the fear of not fitting into a world seemingly devoid of emotional understanding - has blossomed into what I now regard as my biggest strength.
What I believe

Small steps lead to meaningful shifts
Change is possible, and I’ll always hold hope for you even if you can’t right now.
You are the expert on you
I’m here to be with you on your path, not determine where we go.
